Throb explores ideas about network society, a cultural change phenomenon, in which elements of a unit are interconnected to form various relationships through digital media networks. This artwork is presented in a form of structural water-­‐based light sculpture made with transparent tubes, LED lights, water, electronics and air bubbles. The artwork is constructed with muliple tubes intertwined to form a arched space. The tubes symbolize the infrastructure of a city that many elements are connected. Inside the tube, bubbles in the water are transported to various places under the established network (tubes), much like a individual or a piece of information transfer from a place to another.
